Long Overdue Update

Hello all. Seems like I've been absent for some time again. Oh well time to catch you guys up!
After Monumentour I had 3 more concerts for 2014

Music Midtown 2014 - Favorite year so far. Not the best lineup but the experience was perfect. Got to see twenty one pilots for the second time and was front row on Tyler's side. Also got to see Jack White, Lorde, Fitz and the Tantrums, Banks, The Strypes and the incredible Eminem.

Wiz Khalifa - my school's annual homecoming concert was quite the night. Really unlike any show I've been to before. Awesome having the crowd full of your peers

Glamour Kills Tour - The headliner was New Found Glory but I really went for We Are the In Crowd. Got front front row on Jordan's side and got to even meet the band and talk to Mike about football for 10 minutes. Candy Hearts and Fireworks were pretty awesome. We didn't stay the whole time for NFG but it was better than Parahoy

This ended up being my top 25 albums of the year

1. U2 - Songs of Innocence
2. Coldplay - Ghost Stories
3. Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels
4. We Are the in Crowd - Weird Kids
5. Gaslight Anthem - Get Hurt
6. Bleachers Strange Desire
7. Royal Blood - Royal Blood
8. The War on Drugs - Lost in a Dream
9. Cloud Nothings - Here and Nowhere Else
10. Damon Albarn - Everyday Robots
11. Foster the People - Supermodel
12. Weezer - Everything Will Be Alright in the End
13. Jack White - Lazaretto
14. Real Estate - Atlas
15. St. Vincent - St. Vincent
16. Interpol - El Pintor
17. Walk the Moon - Talking is Hard
18. Hozier - Hozier
19. Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways
20. Spoon - They Want My Soul
21. Beck - Morning Phase
22. Cold War Kids - Hold my Home
24. Alt-J - This is All Yours
25. Schoolboy Q - Oxymoron
25. Ryan Adams - Ryan Adams

Really great year but it didn't touch the epicness that was 2013

My favorite of this year has probably been Drake - If You're Reading This Its Too Late

Some albums that I'm looking forward to that are already confirmed are from Noel Gallagher, blur, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar. Hopefully albums from U2, Coldplay and twenty one pilots

The last topic I want to touch on is concerts. After the best year I've had last year I didn't think I'd be able to top it. But I was very surprised what a few bands could do.

Late November U2 announced a world tour but quite an unusual world tour. It was all arenas which was great but they were only going to hit a few cities. Atlanta of course would not be one of those cities. After some convincing, I got my dad to have our family vacation this year be in NYC which would center around 2 U2 concerts. For the first one we got 3 upper deck seats behind the stage but for the second show me and my dad have floor tickets! Hopefully this can beat Nashville, I don't have any doubt.

After a lull of announcing shows, out of the blue Paramore announced a final tour for the Self-Titled album. Of course again no Atlanta, but I was able to convince dad again to take me somewhere. But this is somewhere much different. May 17 I will be taking my second trip up to NASHVILLE! After U2 in 2011 now it's time to see my second favorite band play a hometown show in the incredible Grand Ole Opry. This should be special.

I'm also hopefully going to attend Shaky Knees fest in May. Some artists include Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Strokes, Pixies, Wilco, Neutral Milk Hotel, Interpol, Death from Above 1979, Kaiser Chiefs, Real Estate, Best Coast and Ryan Adams

The latest show I added will take place on April 4th in Athens Georgia. The best hip-hop duo out there today, Run the Jewels

This is shaping up to be the best year for concerts ever. This year could also include artists like Coldplay, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar. Also whoever is playing Music Midtown 2015

Well thanks for catching up and I will be back shortly
